About Our Staff:
Timothy James Muhonen, MD
Board Certified in Family Practice
Dr. Muhonen received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Idaho State University and his Doctor of Medicine from Creighton University School of Medicine. He served his residency at St. Mary's Family Practice in Grand Junction, CO and was a Fellow in Rural Family Practice at Tacoma Family Medicine in Tacoma, WA. He is board certified in family practice. Dr. Muhonen was most recently a hospitalist at Katherine Hospital in Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia. He and his wife Heather decided to move to this area because they wanted to live in the southwest. They enjoy hiking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and golfing.
